Here is where I'll compile the music I listen to. I'm really unsure how I want to layout this page, most of it will be taken space by albums and reviews. There are alot of good single tracks I want to include too.. I was contemplating whether I should have a seperated Radiohead album review page (or tierlist) but I'm too lazy for that. WIP (and always will be)

(reading back my text I notice how inconsistant the way I wrote my review.. never trust me for something organized...)

In Rainbows [Radiohead] (2008) ★★★★★

Favourite Tracks:-

  1. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
  2. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
  3. Nude
  4. Faust Arp

Possibly my favourite album ever. There's something so genuine in this album, I really can't get enough of it. Most cases of Radiohead's songs, alienating themselves from conventional music, in In Raibows they took on a different route and created an album universal to anyone, while pertaining the unique sounds in the ability of Radiohead. A summary of this album's concept is the ups and downs of everyday life, while past albums were the cynical lyricism of politics and banks, or literally picking out a bunch of random words out a hat. It's human and I quite like that. So, I think everyone needs to hear this album at least once in their life.

If I could, I would've put every track as my favourite. Suitable for getting ready, working on projects, roadtrips, sharing with someone.. I owe my life to this album

Kid A [Radiohead] (2000) ★★★★★

Favourite Tracks:-

  1. Morning Bell
  2. How To Dissapear Completely
  3. Motion Picture Soundtrack
  4. Kid A

Second favourite Radiohead album. I'm all for drum machines and bleeps, mixed with ambiance.

I think I have uncommon choices of favourite track ( like 'Morning bell' and 'Kid A'). 'Morning Bell' seems repetitive but near the end it blast into this awesome ethereal soundscape, quite underrated. Almost all of the tracks are mastery, give it a listen if you're into electronica and experimental rock.

Ok Computer [Radiohead] (1997) ★★★★★

Favourite Tracks:-

  1. Paranoid Android
  2. Climbing Up the Walls
  3. Let Down

A lot of things had already been said about Ok Computer but what can I say, it rocks. I like how this album mainly focuses on the alternative rock genre but the tad bits of radio samples and dissorted soundscapes makes it so authentic. The miserable feeling and vileness is depicted so brilliantly and it sounds absolutely amazing. Of course, you have to listen to Ok Computer.

Around The Fur [Deftones] (1997) ★★★★☆

Favourite Tracks:-

  1. Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)
  2. Around The Fur
  3. My Own Summer (Shove it)
  4. Rickets

I'm not particularly deep into metal nor deftones's history to comment about it, I will tell you this album is so fuckin awesome. I love how it's so angsty and violent sounding without sounding like a bloodbath. I typically listen to this when I don't want to hear other people.

Post [Björk] (1995) ★★★★☆

Favourite Tracks:-

  1. Army Of Me
  2. Isobel
  3. Hyper-ballad
  4. All The Modern Things

There is something so great about björk's works, in 'Isobel' it exudes such femininity and curiosity, an energy you'd hear in most björks songs. Her ability to make unique artsy pop songs is amazing. It's fun to listen to these unconventional music, especially when they're catchy like björk's.

Medúlla [Björk] (2004) UNRATED

Favourite Tracks:-

  1. Who Is It (Carry My Joy On The Left, Carry My Pain On the Right)
  2. Triumph Of A Heart
  3. Where Is the Line
  4. Oceania

I know I'm guilty of putting this album in without rating (the only songs I've heard are up there ↑). It's intresting how I, someone who dreads acapella can be so enthraled by the tracks in this album. I'm also the type who dislikes beatboxing, I prefer drum machines but this album quite shifted that opinion.

The usage of vocal for everything in this is absolutely insane, vocals used like actual instruments, even so experimental with the various tecniques used to make these unusual noise purely out of the human vocal cord. These things makes Medúlla unlike anything else.
